If you whisper quietly you can hear the echoes along these dark hollow docks. Yelling just gets distorted replies from the sails screaming your words back at you. So please tongue, refrain from making my lips smack so loudly, or else these ships may take my saga and sail away. But in a land where expatriates are basically welcome I have somehow been labeled the uninvited caller. All I need is an aficionado to hold in these empty arms, and I can just dream away these disheartening shipyards that are beginning to extract the oil from my skin. This is the type of oil that I need to fly. I suppose this pillow is calling my name a little dangerously, so I will proceed to gag its pleading. Goodnight putrid reflection, I have seen enough of you for one night.
Good morning sweet scent of rejection born in the smell of rotten fish. This dish of 2-year-old oatmeal is surprisingly filling. “EYES! Stop your damn burning.” I yearn for the sun to die away for just a few more moments. But again, like yesterday, it denies my claim. I’ve given up on arguing with it because, well, it’s a star. But the lack of response does not hinder the occasional blight. But blighting only continues to make me darker than when I departed the womb.
I suppose a pair of pants might be a courteous gesture before I exit my modest abode. God is definitely the only one that knows just how much my living slaughters my will to subsist. A routine is like a very dull knife. You cannot tell it is cutting you but as the back and forth motion slowly turns your skin red, the blood begins moving to the surface until the capillaries break. The blood of my life is progressively coming to sight and I think today I might just bleed. |

Wow... its been like 3 months since Ive posted on this thing. Well Im in hollywood and doing great. Im finally coming into a little bit of money so Im not totally broke. My band is doing AMAZING! We have a couple songs up on our myspace.. Ill put a link at the bottom. We are gonna have some merch including shirts and cd's at the end of january... All of which will be on sale through the internet. So yea, we're planning on taking over the world...hehehe. So yea, thats pretty much the update so far. Hollywood is treating me well and im getting my hair done on saturday :) And I heard Davey from AFI cut his hair WTF?!

So yea... I made the auditions for that band! So now we are pretty much gonna try and get try and get the 8 songs we have down completely tight. I have lyrics to all of them and melodies to like 6 of them. But once we get that done, their money man is gonna come down and check us out and then the ball will start rolling. Getting a demo recorded, photoshoots, getting the press pack together and into the right hands. That way we can start showcasing for labels and stuff. ITs gonna be so awesome. ITs weird though cause Ive never been the frontman for a band before. I think im gonna like it though. Im also gonna be doing some keyboard stuff and playing guitar on a couple songs, so dont worry... Im not giving up my instruments. I couldnt do that. But yea, Ill keep everyone up to date on whats going on. We actually got contacted by ESPN to recorded a couple songs for the winter X games. Thats like $30,000 right there...hehe. Sorry about rambling... Im just like all giddy and stuff. |

so yea... I got asked to audition for another band. They are like pretty completely awesome and they have TONS and TONS of contacts... They have a really rich financial backer and all that good stuff... If I make the audition then Ill go into more detail about everything... Lets just say this is honestly an extremely good chance for me to do well for myself in music. Their sound is kind of in the vein of Lostprophets or like Anberlin. Its like sort of a take on whats popular right now, but more just like rock-n-roll. Its definitely mainstream, but really cool. So yea... wish me luck!!! |

Hey all you guys! Its been forever since I posted.
Life in cali is wonderful and really gets more wonderful every day. Im playing in 2 bands right now and wanting to actually start my own. So I guess you could say Im pretty freakin busy. Work is gay, but I have to pay rent so Im suffering through it. I've decided that I have too much talent with music not to pursue it so Im putting most of my focus on that. Not to mention I cant afford to be a full time student... Although I do want to start taking some internet classes so eventually one day I might be able to get my english degree... Not for any reason other than just to have one. So yea life is good, but I do miss all you guys back in KY.
On another note everyone out here thinks Im gay...lol. hahaha. I dont really know what it is. My roommate says its cause Im a really nice guy and also like a real "pretty" guy. I dont know...lol. ITs funny though.
Well I should have some demos up of the two bands Im playing in and also some of my own acoustic stuff up in the next month or so... Ill keep everyone up to date with it. |

Im talking to some guys in a band called the faded to play a couple shows with them in July. I just have to learn their stuff, which wont be too difficult. The audition went freaking great. The band is amazing and they thought the same of my voice. Which I think there was something wrong with their ears...lol. They had me audition with one of my songs and Ghostman on Third by Taking Back Sunday. They're alot heavier than I thought too. Kristin, you would love them! The music sounds kinda like Thrice or Atreyu, but much better than Atreyu, imo. So they gave me like 3 of their songs to go ahead and start putting lyrics and melodies to. So Im gonna give it a try. Kinda have like a trial period where both of us are kinda feeling it out to see if its going to work. So yea, it was fun times. |

So guys. Im trying out for a band tonight. They've heard my stuff and really like it but its gonna be really weird. They already have 2 guitarists so Im auditioning to just be their Frontman. Ive never not played guitar in a band. This is going to be so weird, but i think it'll be fun. The band is called "Nine-Volt Heart". They kinda sound like Taking Back Sunday or Thrice. They have potential to be good I just think they need someone who is into some different stuff and someone that knows how to arrange a song... Basically someone with the mind of a producer which would be me. So Im pretty excited about it, but Im really nervous. They want me to audition with Cute Without the E by TBS and some of my songs. So wish me luck guys. |

Ive been to a couple shows and a couple clubs already and am having a blast. The traffic blows, but Ive finally got an idea of when to be on the freeway and when not to be. But yea... So i have decided to start writing a novel...lol. It may seem random, but im serious. ITs not gonna be like a 5 inch thick novel but probably more like a short novel.. but a novel none the less. So I just got back from the "...Trail of Dead" show in louisville. It was by far the best show I have ever seen. The totally got wasted off Makers Mark while they were playing...lol. It was great. I went and saw them at an instore thing at earx-tacy and I got to meet them all.. They are totally awesome guys. Conrad (main songwriter) smelled of beer and sweat...lol. But like Friday night I got to see MeWithoutYou and then saturday I got to see my best friends Sides of the North play in lexington... So this was a good weekend.. Then this coming weekend is full of shows and then I leave for cali! wooohooo!!! |
